About Polar Peak Popcorn
OUR STORY:
Popcorn has been our go-to snack for years, and we love to experiment with different flavours. Our interest in popcorn led us on this path to expand our popcorn-making capabilities from our kitchen to our very own 160-quart kettle. Thus Polar Peak Popcorn was born, allowing us to share our favourite snack with friends and fellow popcorn lovers. We have been selling our gourmet kettle corn popcorn in Fernie and the Elk Valley since 2020.

THE ADVENTURE SNACK:
What makes Polar Peak Popcorn the ultimate adventure snack?
Beyond satisfying your snack craving, it's portable and lightweight, non-perishable, easy to eat and comes in its own resealable pouch. Once empty the pouch can be safely used to pack out whatever you need. It can even be used as a spare water reservoir. Use it to collect berries, store waste, or roll it up and bring it home to re-use there.

HOW IT'S MADE:
We make gourmet kettle corn popcorn. Our kettle is 160 quarts and typically uses 8 cups of popcorn per batch. We use mushroom popcorn for its ability to hold up well when being flavoured, packaged, and taken on adventures.
Once popped, we pour the popcorn onto a sifting and cooling tray that removes unpopped and partially popped kernels.
Depending on the popcorn flavour, it is either salted or tossed with additional ingredients. Then, the popcorn is bagged and ready to eat.
Traditional kettle corn - what we make most - is a sweet and salty popcorn consisting of four ingredients - popcorn, sugar, oil, and salt.
Other flavours we make include; theatre popcorn, salted caramel, caramel apple, black truffle salt, dill pickle, white cheddar, and a variety of candied flavours such as strawberry watermelon.

Do you have a special event such as a birthday, wedding, fundraiser, family reunion or event for a large crowd?
Contact us, and we can make a plan following the current health guidelines. We can almost always accommodate large popcorn orders.
We have packaging and labelling options available. Let us know, and we can work with you to find the best option.

Polar Peak Popcorn is based in Fernie, BC. You can find our popcorn in select stores in; Fernie, Elko, Jaffray, Cranbrook and Sparwood.
