Frequently Asked Questions

We are always thrilled when we hear people describe our popcorn as perfect. We use non-GMO mushroom popcorn that pops as perfect sturdy kernels. The kernels are sifted on a table that sorts out small bits and any un-popped kernels.

We do not currently have a storefront. You can find our popcorn at local craft fairs, farmer's markets and select retail locations throughout Fernie, Elko, Jaffray, Cranbrook and Sparwood. View our where to buy page for a list of retailers.

Our popcorn machine and sifting table were purchased new and have not been in contact with any nuts. We have made special orders that included things such as M&M’s. They were added after the bagging process, and no products containing nuts have come in contact with our popcorn machine or sifting table. Any future orders with a product that may contain nuts will be added in the same way. 

Several of our flavours, including the kettle corn classic Sweet & Salty, do not have ingredients containing gluten. Our processing facility does have products that contain gluten in some of the seasonings. We do our best to clean everything between the batches, but our facility is not certified gluten-free. 

Our popcorn contains no preservatives.

If kept in a cool and dark environment, the popcorn stays fresh for 60 days in the resealable pouches. Popcorn packaged in our thinner market bags is for immediate consumption. We generally only sell our market bags of freshly made sweet and salty at events. 

The resealable pouches make excellent reusable bags. Wash them out and use them for freezer bags, dry goods storage, dog treats, seed storage, and toiletry bags for liquids when you travel or gift baked goods to your neighbours in them. Anything you would use a traditional “ziplock” bag for, we have even used them to start sunflower plants. 

Do you have a special event such as a birthday, wedding, fundraiser, family reunion or event for a large crowd? Contact us, and we can make a plan following the current health guidelines. We can almost always accommodate large popcorn orders.
